In the motion and gesture settings, there was previously an option to vibrate your device for missed calls or text messages received through Samsung Messages. This particular setting is no longer available for text messages on the S26 series, as Samsung Messages is not pre-installed on these devices. Given that Samsung Messages has been discontinued, I believe it would be beneficial if this feature could be extended to Google Messages or any other default texting application a user might prefer.
