Home app icons are huge and out of proportion. On the home screen and in home folders. Folders in the apps drawer are not as bad. When you set the phone screen to be 5x6 grid, the main icons become a reasonable size but the bottom row don't change. When home is on 4x4, the icons all are too large. Then, home settings only allows folders to be 4x4 which takes the large icons and squishes them more together even more out of proportion than the rest of the apps. A folder would have a better spacing with 5x5 at least. Considering that my phone display zoom is all the way down and dp settings turned up, the icons never should've been shrunk to follow those settings to begin with.
I love the icons but I can see how that's not everyone's cup of tea. I always wanted Samsung to give us the option to manually choose the size of them, that way everyone is happy.
You can resize icons with Good Lock! I always make my icons (even third party ones) about half the size. Unfortunately have to wait for the beta to be done before we can use good lock again.
Totally! Theme Park app is the module to use. You can download and use any third party icon pack from the Google Play Store, make them any shape, change them out, use photos from your gallery as icons, mix and match from various icon packs... lots of customization options!! A real game changer.

Oh, you're right. I hate using theme park. It's very time consuming, hence why I probably forgot about that feature. What I was referring to is to have it as an option under "home screen settings".
