Could you kindly consider adding an app lock feature It would be a wonderful addition for privacy and security for users. Thank you.

As it's available in some regions like china would be great to be available globally please. I know scure folder exists but we want app, lock without secure folder. Thanks!

I believe there is a feature like this. You can add an app to your secure folder, which makes it so you can only access the app after entering a password.

Yes ik about secure folder but still china has a feature where you can lock your apps without having to put ur app in the secure folder its just better and easier

Secure Folder is great for storing sensitive data, but it’s overkill for simply locking individual apps. It requires setting up a separate environment, and switching back and forth between the main interface and the folder is inconvenient. An app lock feature would be simpler and quicker, letting users lock specific apps without the extra hassle.

No need to consider much and have a debatable meeting with Team to conclude App lock would be a good Idea. It's a no brainer decision to make, come up with it as quickly as possible.

Most of the time what happens is that some Photos of ours are personal or family related which we don't wanna show it to others or for e.g.- We don't wanna show our Crypto Portfolio and Balance to others or friends but sometimes they ask for our Phone because of Good camera or something and they start seeing all images and Crypto balance and stuff like that. Other phones have app lock to hide that but In Samsung we need to manually transfer specific images, videos, files and apps and then keep switching from normal mode to Secure folder mode to access thosw things, that's very inconvenient.

I'm almost using Samsung Phones for 6-7 years and Before 5-6 years there was a Samsung S Secure or something like that feature to lock apps and it was convenient but Idk what Devs thought and completely removed that stuff. Do something about it ASAP. I don't like openness of my phone and I don't feel secure giving my phone to my friend's or family members. This is really bad that you guys need to discuss and elongate such a feature to come up with.

Samsung pls add built-in App lock feature for atleast Budget devices if you feel Secure folder is best which is available only for mid range and flagships.
