Genuine Answer: Say if you deleted a confidential file/image and it remained in trash. Now you handed over your phone to someone else and they found your confidential data in trash. It is like insurance, doesn't need a thousand times a day but when needed it saves a thousand days.

As of the latest beta 3, this is still unavailable. This is a must have.
I also noticed in Device Manager there is a dedicated trash section where we can see all things sent to trash. What a foolish implementation showing everything deleted in the same place without security. Even you cannot delete all items in trash together. For each app, we have to go to the app trash and delete separately. Firstly, it should be secured by screen lock in effect and all items in trash should be deleted once, regardless the source of the app.
