The camera viewer and remote on the watch take a long time to load.
Camera app on the phone starts immediately. On the watch you can go make a sandwich before the image loads.
Now turn your phone so the view is landscape. The watch does not rotate the image. Lots of pics are not only in portrait view. Prior to the updates, the watch rotated the view and mirrored the phone.
