Yes, a new charging animation is overdue. Many people didnt like the change to the current one. Change it to an active charging animation like if you use a plug, the bottom of the phone animates to show charging speed. Or if you use wireless charging, the middle of the screen animates to show energy coming into the phone and what speed its charging. The animation should not take up the whole screen and does not need to be too in your face.
