SuggestionsIt has long been suggested that there should be an option to Enable/Disable Trash (Recycle Bin). However, if the developers cannot agree with this (which seems they are) a contextual menu can be added in the gallery and file manager to delete files permanently without sending them to Trash/Recycle Bin.

SuggestionsHello,
Thank you for sharing your long-standing suggestion. We understand the desire for more control over how files are deleted, especially when users prefer to bypass the Trash/Recycle Bin for permanent deletion.
If enabling or disabling Trash globally isn't aligned with current design decisions, your idea of adding a contextual "Delete Permanently" option in Gallery and File Manager apps offers a smart and user-friendly compromise.
We’ll share this feedback with the relevant team for consideration in future One UI updates. We appreciate your input and continued support in helping us improve the experience.
Regards,
One UI Beta Team
