I started using DuckDuckGo tracking blocker a little while ago and I was floored by the number of trackers developers (even big name, reputable developers) added to their apps and the extremely intrusive nature of the data they collected. It is, in my opinion, frankly criminal. One or two apps will not even work because I block their trackers now and I'm OK not using them anymore.
Could Samsung developers create an internal way to protect users' privacy from hidden trackers in apps. Google will not because they are one of the biggest offenders. The DuckDuckGo implementation sets up an on-device VPN that web traffic goes through to work. But this tracking revelation has jaded me and I don't even fully trust DuckDuckGo. I do trust Samsung though.
