Feedback on Adaptive Power Saving in One UI 7.0 Beta 3 (Galaxy S24 Ultra)

Hey everyone,

I'm currently using One UI 7.0 Beta 3 on my Galaxy S24 Ultra and wanted to share my experience with the Adaptive Power Saving feature. At the moment, it seems that when Adaptive Power Saving activates Power Saving Mode, it doesn’t dynamically adjust individual settings. Instead, it simply toggles Power Saving Mode on or off, retaining the previously configured settings.

I believe it would be much more beneficial if Adaptive Power Saving could intelligently tweak specific settings based on real-time usage. For instance, it should activate battery-saving options that don’t significantly impact performance, especially during high-end gaming sessions. Rather than just turning everything on or off, a more adaptive approach would optimize battery life without unnecessarily limiting performance.

These suggestions are really good. It would be a way to show off how "innovative" Galaxy AI is instead of just a gimmick. I can picture something like this coming in One UI 8 maybe. But the current adaptive power saving feature is just a routine without the routine. Was never reliable for me so I just set a routine when I know I'm not going to use my phone to go into power saver.

I seriously doubt it. There hasn't been any changes to power saving in the beta aside from the option to pick higher than 80 percent battery protection. Plus with how Samsung is being with the S25 having "better" hardware and keeping exclusive things, I wouldn't hope on it.

I agree with that last part but this is just a quality of life improvement. They should and could definitely add it but I agree, there's a big chance they won't, unfortunately.

Adaptive battery was on but Adaptive power savings was toggled off.
Seems basic, as noted, but I'm looking forward to seeing if it has any positive impact.
