This may be a google thing, but it would be nice if google messages font would change with the phone. I have a nice font on but it doesn't change in google messages. 

One thing I like about samsung messages is that when you changed your theme and font, it would change in the messages too. I wish google messages did that

Yes, I agree. I think we have to message/email google for that.

Google hard-codes fonts into all of their apps. I don't think they'd be willing to change that, but the only way to request it is to contact Google.

Different fonts work with system or root privileges, I'm sure Samsung can figure it out.
