There was no update to make the apps that were said to come with Android 15 appear full screen. For this reason, OneUl 7 looks terrible in most apps. I hope they update it in the final version.

(Those who think it is related to the application can open Spotify on HyperOS or MIUI and try it.)

Navbar and status bar definitely need to be transparent by default. The black/white bars at the top and bottom of the display (in certain apps) are major eyesores.

I mean that screenshot is One UI 6, I use youtube music and it was full-screen before One UI 7. In fact all my apps seem to be full-screen, don't think I've ever seen the NavBar non transparent since I've always used Goodlock. But this is a good point that they should check on before final release.

This is still a beta and things will change by the time the full release is released

This Beta have a lot of empty ugly spaces, I hope the final version isn't like that

If you consider the One UI 7 on the recently released S25 as "final" then please expect to be disappointed. Both bars are clearly visible as black bands.

It is actually worse than UI 6 or 6.1, on which the status bar at least follows the colour of whatever current app.

  • I use Good Lock\NavStar to enable extra navigation ops in system Settings. This will show an additional option in system Settings\Display\Navigation Bar to turn off the nav bar indicator.
  • To hide the status bar (partially): Use an app called System UI Tuner - it has the option to both hide the status bar and the nav bar indicator. It relies on another Shizuku app though - so that you don't need root. Both apps are available on Play Store.

Nice move, Samsung -_-
