Unfortunately for you, I'll be happy to burst your bubble that you may as well switch over to Apple then. Google is pushing forth the update and changes regardless of Android version before long, and I'd beg to give an educated guess that there is a pretty big reason that they are blocked for reasons you aren't aware. Unfortunately for all of us, things change, and whining about it on a beta forum is honestly... pathetic. Maybe have more realistic expectations beforehand and life won't disappoint you as much. Plus, it's a beta update, not a stable one. Educate yourself.
