I know this has been indirectly mentioned a few times, but I think this issue needs more visibility. The implementation of notification icons on the lockscreen is laughable, at best. They used to be shown on the lockscreen itself and they've now been moved to the status bar. What's more, they're limited to 3 icons. This is useless. I currently have notifications from 3 apps on my phone and as you can see in the screenshot, I only know about notifications from one. The old implementation in One UI 6 was far superior. Please restore that functionality for users who don't want to clutter their lockscreen with cards.
