The mini media player should be re-added to the smaller notification drawer instead of the extended notification drawer.
It makes pausing and changing songs one extra step and if you're using your phone, swiping down twice or from the top right is a bit tedious as compared to before when you just had to swipe down to access the mini media player.
The now bar is only convenient if the phone is locked and is nice. Having the mini media player not on the smaller notification drawer made it less convenient to get to as compared to before for a quicker access. Possibly give users the option to place it on either.
Sadly, no changes. Media player is still only in the quick settings panel. Extra swiping whether you choose together or separate for the notifications and quick panel. Bummer.
