I am now a fan of using the notification and quick access in together mode.

Samsung created a definite gutter space at the bottom to swipe left for quick access.
No longer an issue if accidentally swiping away a notification.

Suggestions:

1. Replace notifications button from long scrolling text button to a small button or icon button. The long pill button is unnecessary and looks out of place.

2. Maybe an arrow icon in the middle bottom gutter to remind the user to swipe left for quick access. A muscle memory learning curve for sure.

3. Quick Access should have the date and time at the top like the notification screen.

I like the design overall. A little further polish would be great! šŸ˜Š

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions on the notification and quick access design. It's great to see how much you're enjoying the new approach and also thinking critically about ways to refine it further. Let us address your points:

1. Notifications Button Design:
Your suggestion to replace the long pill-shaped button with a smaller, more concise icon is a great idea. It could make the interface cleaner and visually aligned with the rest of the design elements.

2. Arrow Icon in the Bottom Gutter:
Adding an arrow icon to guide users toward the quick access panel is an excellent idea for reducing the learning curve. Itā€™s a simple addition that could improve usability, especially for new users.

3. Date and Time in Quick Access:
Including the date and time at the top of the quick access screen would enhance consistency between the two panels and provide users with helpful information at a glance.

Itā€™s great to hear that youā€™re enjoying the overall design and offering actionable feedback for further polish. Weā€™ll make sure your suggestions are shared with the development team.

Regards,
