Still no option on the unlocked phones to choose network type such as 4g , 5g, or 5uc .

I do see the option for 5G and 2G on my S23 Ultra unlocked.
4G service is no longer used from most of carriers anyway, since they converted that bandwidth to 5G.

If you unselect Allow 5G, the phone will only use 4G or less if 4G isn't available.
