Option to reclaim the Dock space.

I have never had a use for the Dock. It's annoying, and I disable it. But I can't use that SPACE. Can we get an option to reclaim that space for the regular home screen? I'd rage user that extra space for widgets, etc.

I would expand on that idea, too much-wasted space with the page changer area, I want to turn it off.
