Quick Panel WiFi Control with Label

Touch events have changed for quick settings (now controls?) over the years. My favorite set was:
  • Tap on icon to toggle setting
  • Tap on label to open intermediate settings page (list of available connections)
  • Long press icon or label to open in settings
Currently, these events are inconsistent between controls:
  • Long press to open pop up settings (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Screen Rotate, Flashlight)
  • Long press to open full settings (Sound, Mobile Hotspot, Location, Mobile Data)
And, traditionally unique touch events are now redundant:
  • (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) opens pop up settings by label tap, label long press, and icon long press.
If tapping the icon and label can have different behaviors, why can't long pressing each also be unique?

PS: Why are multiple instances of the same control not allowed? I had moved my wifi and Bluetooth into the expandable area (no label) and wanted another instance outside of it with the label. Can we have more than one expandable area?
