To bring the app opening animation closer to the stock Android experience, I'd like to propose the implementation of a nonlinear animation approach that considers variables such as speed and body size independently.
Currently, animations tend to follow a linear pattern, which might not capture the natural variation in movement and speed. By introducing a nonlinear animation model that considers variables like body size and movement speed, Samsung could create more dynamic and visually engaging app opening animations.
I miss the old app close animation. Its just as fluid as the old one, however the motion doesn't fit the movement of closing an app. Especially with gesture navigation
Agreed with this post. Also, not just scaling the app open, but implementing the reveal effect on stock Android, as well as the app loading animation, would be nice for fluent design.
