Samsung Gallery: More Viewing Options/Preferences

I've noticed that with the new gallery application, it defaults to a grid view with huge windows.  Before it would go to a vertical list view with small icons.  

What do you all of it? I think it would be great to have a setting where you can choose the default view. 

In addition there is a "Recent," folder and a "Favorite," folder. I think it would be a good idea to be able to have a toggle for these as well. *We aren't even given an option to hide either of these Albums.*

I use the list view in everything except Gallery. Agreed that you should be able to set the list view as default.
