How about stopping the notification that appears after each reboot about 2G being turned off? Having 2G enabled is a security risk, and many carriers are winding down 2G service anyway, so leaving it on offers little benefit and more risk. I understand the notification appearing when the user initially turns it off, but I think it's time to stop it from appearing after each reboot. At the very least, provide a "Don't show me again" checkbox.
