The Edge Panel background got switched back:(

I use the Edge Panel multiple times a day to keep my homescreen uncluttered. 

I was so happy to see it get a nice revamp in beta 1. 

Unfortunately, it's back to a nondescript, bland, black color that absolutely does not match the other semi transparent elements in the UI. 

Please, please, consider keeping it like it was in beta 1. I am sad 😭

I have my icons as purple and it looks good for me but that's me personally, and how do you get so much on the side bar

You can fit lots of apps,plus make folders! Haha. Apparently, 22 apps will fit

The edge panel is also further away from the edge now, or am I imagining it? Don't really like the gap.

Ok, I looked a little closer at my photos, and it's a teensy bit further away, a millimeter? But yes.

Maybe it's just more noticeable because we're back to the black background and it stands out?
I hope they bring back what transparent one. It was nice.

Ha! I know. Well, what's really funny is that the final build will ultimately be some of our suggestions but mostly stuff we don't even get to try out first. If I recall correctly. I missed the last one because I have T-Mobile 😕
