SuggestionsWhen wearing watch to sleep, the watch face turns on randomly when you move. It can bother you or your partner. Every night I have to turn it off manually and then turn it on the next morning. It would be good if there was a routine that we could program to turn raise-to-wake on and off automatically.

SuggestionsHello @GalaxyUser00,
Thank you for your suggestion on AOD mode.
As you already know, our current implementation DND mode includes AOD and Raise to Wake that includes raise-to-wake on/off, which is intended to keep your screen off during (for example) sleep mode (work, exercise..etc).
Your suggestion has been communicated with the development manager, and will be discussed for possible implementation after review.
We appreciate your contribution to Beta program.

SuggestionsAgreed, I would prefer this over the current "Sleep Mode" solution. Something in the "Modes and Routines" app to set display characteristics (like AOD and Raise to Wake) would be very helpful here.

SuggestionsHi,
Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify, are you saying that DND (Do Not Disturb) is currently supposed to disable (turn off) the Raise To Wake function?
Do Not Disturb mode does not work in this manner on my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

SuggestionsHello @Jeepmb,
Yes that is correct! Current Watch5 Beta has the option for "Sleep mode" that is linked with DND during the set hours as below. In that case, the display turns off until the "wake up" hours.

SuggestionsOh I see, I misunderstood your statement. Yes, my watch does turn on DND when Sleep Mode is active, so that does work as intended.
My only complaint is that sleep mode places this "sleep" screen over your watch face which I find annoying:
ā
Just my opinion, but sleep mode would be more usable for me if this screen did not appear, and I could just see my regular (or set by modes & routines) watch face.

SuggestionsThanks for the tip. Yes I tried "sleep mode" and it works and turns off the screen and only turns on when the main key is pressed. However I would like to have the option to turn on/off raise-to-wake in 'routines'. I automate many things on my phone with routines and I don't use 'modes' since routines are more capable and I have more control. Modes just do a few 'out-of-the-box' actions.
And in general I am waiting to see more actions on watch supported by routines other than just "changing watchface".
