The Audio Eraser interface is currently forced to the top of the Quick Panel whenever media is active. There is no way to dismiss, unselect, or hide this panel while media is playing. This creates significant UI clutter and removes user agency over their notification space.
UX & Technical Analysis:
* Intrusive Hierarchy: Forcing a niche AI tool to the top of the notification shade displaces essential system toggles and notifications, requiring unnecessary scrolling.
* Lack of Opt-In Control: Features should be available when needed, not forced when irrelevant. A persistent overlay for every media sessionโ€”regardless of audio qualityโ€”is poor design.
* Resource Overhead: The constant presence of the Audio Eraser service hooks into the media buffer, potentially causing unnecessary NPU/CPU cycles and incremental battery drain.
Requested Solutions & Fixes:
* Manual Toggle: Add an "Opt-in" switch in Settings > Advanced Features > Intelligence to enable/disable the "Show Audio Eraser in Media Panel" behavior.
* Dismissible Interface: Allow the panel to be swiped away like a standard notification without killing the media playback.
* Layout Customization: Integrate the feature as a standard, movable button within the Quick Panel Edit (pencil icon) menu. Users should be able to remove it entirely from the pull-down shade if they do not use the feature.
* On-Demand Activation: Instead of a permanent panel, trigger the tool only when the user explicitly requests it.
Overall I get why they're doing it but I would rather opt out of this that forced opt in. Si have already submitted my feedback so now I'm posting to the community I see I'm not alone. First it was google voice typing on Samsung keboard..

That's also where Mic Mode goes when youre on a phone app or WhatsApp or maybe even more apps... im wondering if maybe we could find a way to move that whole section. But I doubt it. 1777988010691.jpg

I concur; it appears that integrating this functionality directly into the phone application, rather than the notification bar, would be optimal. This feature should be accessible as an in-call option within the phone application.
