Why are Live Notifications dismissable?

If the Notification is"Live", why is it dismissed even though the activity itself is still going. 

Live Notification shouldn't be dismissed. It fundamentally doesn't make sense.

Yeah, or another way — timer must stop if you dismiss it. This logic need fundamental revamp in OneUI 8. Live Notifications is such a cool feature

Or that. Give us a choice, personally I don't think it'd make sense to dismiss the actions. I've dismissed notifications by accident a lot.

The media player for music, videos, podcasts, etc. should be a live notification. It is out of place as a quick setting.

I agree. It should be Media Player then Live Notification.
