"Recent" Album in the gallery

Like the title, would love the ability to disable the "Recent" album in the stock gallery app.

I agree. Also, I would like to have ability to change 3-column layout on the first page of album.

Agreed. I would like to be able to hide that folder as well as the Favorite.

It's an easy fix.... go to gallery hit the bottom hamburger tap & then click on settings it gives you the option default album views .
