TipsHello!
This is One UI Beta Program Operation Team.
We are thankful that you have taken part in One UI Watch Beta Program.
Enjoy the One UI 5 Watch that is upgraded now.
One UI 5 Watch Upgrade
Watch faces and tiles
Add watch faces and tiles more easily
A new vertical layout makes it easier to find the watch faces and tiles that are right for you.
Improved Buds controller tile
You can now turn 360 audio on and off from the Buds controller tile if your Buds support 360 audio.
Quick access to timers
You can start timers from the new Timer tile without opening the Timer app.
Set an album or story as your watch face
Instead of just one picture, you can now make your watch face cycle between pictures in an album or story that you select. Your watch face will change to a different picture each time you turn on the watch screen.
Samsung Health
Automatically record cycling workouts
Samsung Health can now detect when you start cycling and record your workout automatically. You can also set whether to automatically map your cycling routes.
Get heart rate guidance during running workouts
Your watch can provide personalized heart rate zones while you run to help you manage your exercise intensity.
Backup and restore
Keep your watch data safe
Files and data from your watch are periodically backed up to your phone when it's connected to your watch. You can also save backups to Samsung Cloud. Your phone needs the latest version of the Smart Switch app to use this feature.
Control your phone
More call controls
You now have more control over calls without touching your phone. You can adjust the call volume, mute sound, and press buttons on the keypad, all from your watch.
Additional changes
Dictate text with the Home button
Just press and hold the Home button any time you're entering text with Samsung Keyboard to instantly switch to voice input.
Use multiple timers at once
You can now have up to 20 timers running at the same time to help keep track of all your tasks.
Share your medical info in an emergency
A button to access your medical info will appear automatically when a hard fall is detected or when you press the Home button 5 times to start the Emergency SOS feature.
Device care
Check the status of your watch's battery, storage, and memory and immediately fix any problems to extend battery life and keep your watch running smoothly.
Control your watch without touching it
Universal gestures let you control your watch without touching the screen or pressing a button. You can assign various actions to gestures such as shaking your wrist, making a fist, or pinching your fingers.
Organize apps in folders
Create folders to keep your apps organized so you can find the apps you need quickly with less scrolling.
Some apps will need to be updated separately after your watch is upgraded.
Thank you.

TipsThis beta has ruined my galaxy watch 4. The battery drain is horrible. How to I get out of the beat and restore the production version of the software? I was forced to factory reset and the backups are being listed as corruptor missing. This has been a total failure.

TipsHello,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
1. To withdraw from the Beta program, you must apply for withdrawal through Samsung Members application on your device.
(Select the "Beta Withdraw" button in the Beta recruitment notice. It can take a maximum of 2 business days).
2. Please note, you will not be able to sign up again after you withdraw from Beta, so please make a careful decision.
3. After withdrawing from the Beta, please visit the nearest Service Center to reinstall the latest official software of the previous OS version.
(If you have signed up for the Beta program, but have not installed the Beta version software, you can continue to use the current official version after withdrawing through Samsung Members app.)
You can also call us at 1-800-726-7864 to find the nearest Service Center.
Note: If you backed up your device data, you can restore the data after the rollback process by using the restore function of Galaxy Wearable app.
Thank you for your feedback.
Best Regards,
One UI Beta Team

TipsThis beta is one of the best. However, the timer functions still need some tweaking.
MANAGE MULTIPLE TIMERS AT ONCE
Multiple timers on the phone/tablet can be resumed, paused, restarted, or deleted at once, but not on the watch.
RENAMING TIMERS
There is no way to rename a timer on a watch, except for seeing the original duration that the timer was set for. This can be done on the phone/tablet with the three dots on the top right corner and selecting Rename Timer. This comes in handy when one wants one countdown to be used for cooking food and another for the time left until the concert begins or even someone's birthday (a long term countdown up to 100 hours in length).
SORTING TIMERS
On the phone/tablet, one can sort by newest or oldest timer created first or in a custom order. On the watch, it sorts by the oldest timer created first, regardless of the duration. Furthermore, the recently created timer is shown when both of the following are true:
- A timer complication is used on a watch face
- Two or more timers are running
It is better to sort by the remaining time when a timer is related to an important meeting.
UPCOMING ALARM/TIMER NOTIFICATION
As of this writing, the timer circle only turns red in the last five seconds, with the watch also pulsing every second for that period of time. When the Upcoming Alarm Notification is enabled on the connected phone, the timer circle should turn red earlier (can be set for 5, 15, or 30 minutes) to alert the person earlier that there is little time remaining.
