Probably to keep a few features as seemingly exclusive to the S26 since it's the newest. Call screening should come with the 8.5 final for the S25. Other software features will more than likely be back ported like the horizontal lock on the s25 video recording. Some think it's a new thing but Motorola & vee-vo had that feature a few years ago.

Call screening we have since the last 2 betas. Most people overlooked it because it's not called call screening.

I'm seeing text call and then if you go into settings under Galaxy AI there is call assist but it only has live translate on my s25 ultra so I'm not seeing the call screening that's available on s26, nor am I seeing the scam protection they introduced from Google

It's in the call settings when you are in the dialer. Hit the 3 dot on the dialers upper right and it should be right there.

No we have caller id and spam protection. The s26 ultra has "call screening" where Gemini screens and and answers calls for u. Its completely different. The pic i posted shows what we have now. Its not the same. Look it up.

That's not what everyone is talking about. Read your own screenshot your looking at forward to voicemail. 

Call screening is totally different. The AI directly interacts with them automatically. It's a s26 exclusive right now.

Bro you are wrong! Dont answer back again until u look it up. The feature im talking about is called Call Screening... it's a feature that's exclusively on the s26 ultra. U DO NOT HAVE THIS FEATURE ON YOUR S25ULTRA. But eventually we will get that feature as well as Now Nudge via an update since there's not a hardware issue that would keep us from getting it.

Just installed. Seems just like a bug fix update. I don't see anything new.
