@MatthewReiter This is probably the final beta and has much of the feature in the final of the 8.5. It will get the March patch when it goes final or even the April patch if this goes into April.

Unless they manage to do a Beta 8. The Z Fold and Flip 7 got One UI 8.5 Beta 1 today.

I wonder if some of the new AI features that were released on S26 will be available on S25? Creative studio, now nudge, call screen, those seem like features that you might expect to see on at least the S25. Would you think those would come on the full 8.5 software? I imagined we might see some of those in the beta.

@Rmc1984 To be honest, I don’t know, and I haven’t looked into it. I never use those features and most likely never will. I never once used the Now Bar/Brief other than to test it for a few days. Those things just aren’t useful to me. But that’s me and how I use smartphones. I only want a stable, solid device with a great camera system. I’ve got a great device in the S25U, but an okay camera that still, even with this large Beta 7 update, hasn’t received a single software improvement since I got the phone in hand on January 30, 2025.

I feel like the camera has gotten a little worse. Prior to the beta I was able to take pretty amazing photos of the moon, but I shared a few photos recently where the moon photo was clearly worse than before. But I agree with you, it would be nice to see some improvements to camera performance.

I have looked into it and Gemini says we are supposed to get the now nudge and the call screening feature with the stable 8.5 update but idk we'll see i guess. But i to wonder y if we are supposed to get them with the stable update then y haven't we seen then with the beta updates yet ya kno
