In his latest tweet it was stated that Friday is the rollout date.

I would be okay if they didn't release it until mid Oct if they could fix the issues and smooth out the performance. I don't want them rushing it to please us. Sure it sucks waiting but I'll take some minor disappointment now vs. A trashy product later.
