What is the deal with removing Wipe Cache from recovery mode? Trying to trap users to factory reset? Also cannot send Beta feedback either about this. What is the deal here?

WCP, Google it why it is not needed.

Feed back fix that worked for me, uninstall Members app, reboot phone, download members app.

Same. Uninstalling and reloading the Members app didn't restore the ability to submit a bug report.

@LongHiker mine seemingly resolved itself with strange results, but it was not harmful or process breaking. I noticed last night before going to sleep that I could get in BF but also noticed I had notifications. It was one regarding the release of the Beta 6 but I distinctly remember opening that notification Thursday and it was then marked read. I took screenshot of it last night before making read again. This morning just to see if BF still work, I had 3 notifications for the last 3beta as if i did not read them, but still can access the BF.

Do we even need to worry about being able to send back feedback about this? The stable update should roll out soon, and then we won't even need that option anymore. If we did, the stable update should fix that issue, right?

@theblackcobra it is not some change to trap people into factory resetting their devices when things go wrong. That would be a user initiated function anyway as it was before the change. It is just how the WCP function worked in the first place. Samsung removed it because it really is not needed any longer. Probably not needed for years but allowed. Consider the numerous settings options the users have with power modes, optimization settings along with user applied app limitations etc, along with a few plugins from the Good Guardians app which are very useful, Thermal Guardian and Galaxy App Booster, etc that will help the device run smoothly and they are informative.

If there is one criticism Samsung seriously deserves is their lack of communication and with update notes that are scarcely meaningful, more like an enumerated list of fixes changes that do not at all elaborate on what they did. Tbh, those update lists are more canned notifications than providing meaningful details. That is painfully obvious if the user goes to their updates pages that is literally linked at the bottom of the software update info.
