Airplane mode/Bluetooth/watch4

Why doesn't the Bluetooth stay on when switch to airplane mode with watch 4 connected? It stays on when headphones are connected so why not watch 4??

This is a google concept called context aware Bluetooth air plane mode and keeps Bluetooth on only when A2DP or Hearing aid profile is connected. As watch doesn't connect with these profiles, Bluetooth is turned off.
