Battery Life and animations in notification panel

Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing poor battery life now one 8.5? Not only that but, im also experiencing stutter/lag? One the notification panel. I like the improvements in 8.5 but my battery life has taken a major hit and the stutter in the notification panel is annoying

Try clearing the system cache. Power off device, then after that, press and hold both the volume up and the side (power) buttons at the same time until the recovery screen appears. Using the volume buttons, move the highlight over "Wipe cache partition", press the side button. Then use the volume button again to highlight "Yes", press the side button. It will then default to the top "Reboot system now" and press the side button again to restart the device as usual. See how that works.

My battery life is actually better after the beta update

Have you tried clearing the cache from the cache partition and run galaxy app booster that works wonders for me

So even after wiping cache partition, I too have noticed some wonky battery life but I've mostly chalked it up to battery stats needing to be re-trained. Gotta let it settle for a few weeks, maybe.

One thing I have noticed last night, and need to see if I can repeat, is super fast charging 2.0 - battery charged up to 25% and then stopped increasing. Phone was plugged in for over two hours, the estimate provided me full charge in an hour. Wasn't able to get the phone to charge normally until I put it on a different charger. Will obviously create a new thread if I can repeat this.

I'm not having stutters or lag.

My battery was really great the first few days no it's back to me charging it in the middle of the day.

Edited a few times. Auto correct.
