Over the last few weeks I have seen some users state that their battery power does not last as long as what was on the first beta, to the 2nd and now a few say the third is worse. Honestly I have seen no difference in battery usage during the betas and even from the UI 7. I have experienced heating issues where that would drain the battery which as all YouTube except for one instance. But overall this is what I have experienced and no I do not have power saving turned on at all.

This my S25U over three days without charging, going from 100% battery power down to 6% when I woke up this morning (it was 10% before I feel asleep). Do the math...

If you are using apps at the same time, like leaving them open while on one app while the others sit there in the task changer ready to be used, that is a killer right there. I have my battery settings on restricted so that apps are not using power running in the background by restricting their battery usage.

I do that on an per app basis. Also I do not use AOD which is a battery hog and I use black background wallpaper which essentially desctivates pixels from lighting up in the spaces in the background.

Then the expectation to have longer battery life between charges is unrealistic if one wants to use and allow every app to run in the background. Only you can decide if opening an app again is too much trouble or not, or leaving it in the background using up battery power is worth what you actually use with apps running the same time, cosmetics looks. and that they are really meaningful to you.

It depends on what apps you use.

As long as I can get 10hrs of SoT no mater how long it takes to get there, I am pretty happy.

There is no way ever I will get 3 days between charges. I don't need it to do that. As long as my battery can make it 18hrs off of charge I will call that a successful day of battery. I have had my phone die once in the last 3 yrs, that was on vacation using the camera and Google maps for 8 hours. Who needs a phone to last 3 days?

My phone is just a small part of my daily life but it certain not in the rank in it being the most important parts. For what I do and what privacy I want, all smartphone are limited in what they can do for me. All I want is a powerful phone, good battery life, easy functionality (Samsung seems to keep making it hard though) and causal video watching/some reading (reading is super important to me, but phones are not partical for that. I keep zero financial apps on my phone, only what google provides that I actually use. Of those calendar is very important, great for reminders, appts. etc. Literally, of the apps I have installed most of them I use fit on two home pages and even then that is on 4x5 icon spacing using about 45% of the screen. The other thing I care about where Samsung has nearly lost me on spending on their flagship devices, is the lack of camera hard improvements. Five years and still the basic same hardware and the camera is the primary reason why I buy the ultra lines.

Also, I do not ln know if this will happen, but many sites have reported Samsung is possibly going all-in on using their own Exynos CPUs for the S26 line next year if all world regions.
