Battery drain

The battery is draining rapidly just in 3 hours with no use it went down 50%. And the phone is getting hot with minimum use

Double check that you don't have any of the Debugging enabled in Developer options. I did and it was killing my battery. It's off by default obviously, so only if you may have enabled it at some point and forgot to turn it off like I did.

Just asking but have you:
1. Rebooted since updating?
2. Checked to see if or what could possible be draining your battery by running in the background?
