Beta 2 Battery Pill Icon in Status Bar...

 is still hard to read. I know this has been posted before ad nauseam, but the battery pill icon in the status bar is still difficult to read. Though it is a bit easier to see the numbers in beta 2, it takes a decent stare to make them out. Some people probably will not have that issue, but contrasting colors are very important in my case. Still no option to switch to the pre-UI 7.0 icon which should be allowed.

Maybe this is the final icon and QuickStar after the UI 8.0 final release will create a choice.

Someone with a PhD and a huge ego came up with the pill idea and now cannot admit they were wrong. Instead their answer was to make the pill larger.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it used to be just the numbers for battery percentage (little larger) but much easier to read, then changed to the numbers next to a pill that showed the level visually plus the numbers, then someone decided to stick the numbers inside the pill, worst idea ever in my opinion
