Beta 2 Implementation

Now we all agree that Beta 1 for One UI 7 was pretty good. There were plenty of welcome changes, but we also suggested some changes to the UI, overall, for more unified elements. Like the addition of frosted glass blur on the lock screen and the Now bar, among many other suggestions. But I know I am not crazy because I don't see any of the big suggestions everyone has been recommending implemented in this beta. I see the bug fixes, but no UI design changes. I hope we get a response from the moderators that those changes are coming in Beta 3.

They better be, a ton of people suggested it, if there's no frosted glass im going to be a bit mad with samsung

It's always this way. Samsung asks for suggestions, but their minds are already made up.

They did take some suggestions to heart last time, especially with the live media player in notification bar. That took about 3 tries to get right.

They need to fix the now bar and app screen (alphabetical sort in horizontal)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've done betas for Samsung since 2017, and hardly do they ever implement ambitious requests from users. They might take your feedback if it matches their vision. Basically, we're testing to report bugs - we shouldn't expect big changes based on our feedback.

I think Samsung should be more honest and forthcoming about setting the right expectations, but here we are.

I enrolled in the One UI 6 and 7 beta programs, but after I restarted my phone, they were gone. There is nothing on my phone to suggest that I am a beta tester. The device I am currently using is a Samsung Galaxy S24+ 5G (SM-S926U). I can't figure this out, and it is extremely frustrating. Thank you.

Yeah, there are no directions, per se. The way it works is you basically say YES I will be a beta tester, agreeing to what Samsung requires. Your phone is now flagged as such, so now when you go to the standard update, it will give you the One UI 7 beta. Did you do that last step? Once you do, everything should be clear.
