Upon startup on beta 3 my default keyboard Microsoft swift would not let me hit enter after entering my password. The enter button on inner and outer displays had the close keyboard button over the enter. This only happens on device lock. Luckily I was able to switch to the Samsung keyboard to unlock my device.

Hello,

Thanks so much for sharing this detailed feedback!

The issue you described with the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard during device unlock on Beta 3—where the Enter key is overlapped by the keyboard close button—sounds like a compatibility or layout rendering issue specific to the lock screen environment.

We recommend the following next steps:

1. Submit an error report via the Samsung Members app to allow our team to collect logs and investigate further:

- Open Samsung Members

- Go to Beta Feedback > Error reports

- Select Samsung Keyboard / 3rd Party Keyboard

 - Attach screenshots if possible and describe the scenario (e.g., lock screen only, SwiftKey, Beta 3, etc.)

 - Ensure “Send system log data” is checked

2. In the meantime, using Samsung Keyboard as a temporary workaround—as you already did—is a good approach until compatibility is improved in a future beta or stable release.

We really appreciate you catching and reporting this! It’s the kind of detail that helps us improve One UI across a wide variety of usage cases and third-party tools.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
