Suggest option to increase limit for number of widgets per stack

On more powerful phones/tablets using OneUI, I think there should be an option to increase the number of widgets per stack. Currently we are limited to seven widgets per stack, which seems arbitrary. Personally, I tend to use the Stackable Widgets feature for memory-non-intensive widgets like calendar countdowns and alarms to save on window space. These widgets are very lightweight and are mostly static once loaded (simply displaying dates/time/etc.), and I don't believe having dozens would make any meaningful difference to performance if allowed. An example would be calendar countdowns for friends and family birthdays, or holidays which quickly exceed the seven widget limit per stack. Please either increase the base limit, or offer a developer mode feature to unlock the limit with a disclaimer on caution with memory usage. Great feature, could be even better.

Hello,

Thank you for your thoughtful and well-articulated feedback!

Weā€™re glad to hear you're enjoying the Stackable Widgets feature and are finding creative ways to make the most of it. Your suggestion to increase the current 7-widget limit per stackā€”especially for lightweight, static widgets like calendar countdowns and alarmsā€”is a valuable one.

We understand how this limit can feel restrictive, particularly on higher-performance devices that can easily handle more widgets without performance degradation. Your idea of a developer mode toggle with a disclaimer is a smart compromise that maintains system stability while allowing flexibility for advanced users.

Weā€™ll be sharing your feedback with the relevant team for further consideration in future One UI updates. Thanks again for your continued support and for helping make One UI even better through your insights.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
