I wondered what Samsung did to make the sound quality with Bluetooth devices sound so much better with OneUI6.

The sound quality and volume of sound isn't just marginally better, in my opinion it is substantially better, richer, and louder on every device I own from earbuds to external speakers and the phone itself.

Noticed a new code from Qualcomm in developer settings I had not seen before.

Also, SSC is specifically for Galaxy Buds2 Pro and maybe other Samsung Buds. Sound is at 24 bits/sample vs 16.

Nice job team Samsung. My ears are loving what you have done!

Also, the on board EQ is actually useful.
Used to be if you went above the midline on the band settings the sound was stunted or muted. Not anymore. Again, great job!

Night and day really!
Almost to the point of making me think that Samsung was holding back. Is S23U now on par with other devices? Better now?
Felt like before the update that the sound was really muted and restrictive.

Shame they still don't allow the use of aptX HD

Not as familiar with all the codecs. Could the Qualcomm aptx be HD and is titled differently?
