I guess just like on our phones, we're locked out of the bootloader on the watches from this update. I went to wipe the cache partition because I do after updates and sometimes weekly to try and keep things fresh, and much to my surprise when the option was gone.
I understand wanting the security from removing these features, but it's starting to feel like iPhone without them and side loading I think is starting to go away, but wiping the cache partition I don't think poses any security risks so I wish we could still do it.
In newer versions of Android there is no cache partition. Each time the phone gets rebooted old data is cleaned out so nothing has been taken away, there simply is nothing there to manually have to deal with anymore.
