Cover screen issues

After UI 9 update on my Z Flip 6, I used to be able to fingerprint into my cover screen, and the lock screen would just unlock and stay on my cover screen art. And then I was able to swipe left for my notifications or right for my widgets, but now, after the update, whenever I fingerprint into through the lock screen, it unlocks and immediately goes to my widgets, and I have no ability to swipe left for notifications. It is very frustrating. I hope that is in the process of being fixed! i've also had several other little glitchy things. All involving the cover screen!

It seems like ui 9 treats the cover screen clock as the "lock screen" which in my opinion is silly and defeats the whole purpose of the cover screen

Can confirm i have the same issue, when the device is unlocked the front screen loses the clock/lock screen and locks to widgets
