Do you need to have a watch line to get beta?

I could join one ui 8 watch beta but don't see software update. 

I do use tmobile on my phone but do not have active watch line for my watch ultra - is this the reason software update not showing up?

Anyone having same setup received soaftware update?

S25 Ultra unlocked w/UI 8 beta. Watch Ultra 7, Not on T-Mobile. No active plan but have the Manager 7 and Health software installed, yet no UI 8 Beta update showing

I "think" the watch beta will get pushed eventually. I'm in same boat as you all. Unlocked s25u and no LTE plan on my watch, but have both apps installed. We'll see.

Same, I have the Ultra, unlocked version, but with Google Fi eSIM. I do have the option to update, but there's nothing... Just waiting

Looks like only watch 7 is supported bith BT and LTE models. For ultra - tmobile LTE has to be active. In this case, why let us join in the first place? May be they will later make it available widely?

Thank you for participating in the One UI Watch Beta program.

We’ve noticed several inquiries regarding not receiving the Beta software update. Please note the following important eligibility criteria:

LTE Models (Watch with Mobile Network)
To receive the Beta update, your Watch must have an active T-Mobile data plan.
If the SIM is not activated or the device is not currently using T-Mobile’s mobile network, the software update will not be delivered.

Bluetooth (Watch BT models, not just BT paired with Phone) Models
Bluetooth-only models are not affected and will receive the Beta software update as usual. No SIM or mobile plan is required.

If you’ve enrolled in the Beta but haven’t received the update yet, please ensure your Watch meets the conditions above.
