This only works on some videos. Not sure what the distinguishing factor is as I'm able to edit some videos where other videos of the same format, I'm not able to

We understand you're experiencing inconsistent behavior when trying to use the Edit Video Sounds feature—where it's only available for certain videos despite having the same file format. This could be related to factors such as:

 - Codec differences (e.g., H.264 vs. HEVC)

 - Bitrate or audio stream encoding

 - Source of the video (e.g., recorded natively vs. downloaded or shared via messaging apps)

 - DRM or file protection in certain media

To help us investigate further, we recommend noting the origin and file details of videos where the feature does and does not work. If possible, submitting an error report through the Samsung Members app along with the video samples would help our development team identify any potential bugs or limitations.
