Auto rotate on home screen is not working for me. The option is checked and auto rotate is working on lockscreen. Was working before this morning's update.
I would check your rotation setting in the Quick Panel too. When I first updated in Beta 1, I had the same issue. Apparently, my rotation was automatically switched to Portrait and I had to change it back to Auto Rotate.
Oh yeah. That'll do it too. It's not ready for foldables yet. Everything else seems to work nicely with the new Home Up. Especially the Animation tuner. I love it.
Most definitely. I love how much more you can customize your homescreen now and really make it your own. They definitely heading in the right direction feature wise imo

It appears that the issue with home screen rotation may be linked to the DIY Home feature within the Home Up module (Good Lock suite). When enabled, DIY Home can override default launcher behavior, including system-level orientation policies. As a result, even if “Rotate to landscape mode” is enabled in settings, the launcher may remain locked in portrait orientation.
To verify, please disable DIY Home temporarily and test the rotation behavior. If rotation functions as expected with DIY Home turned off, the issue is likely due to a compatibility conflict between the current beta build and Home Up customization layers.
