When we decide to send an attachment on Facebook messenger, and click photo, it only gives me a random recent folder to choose from. The only way I'm able to send a recent photo or one of my choosing, I have to go to my gallery then share from there.

Mine did that also, I went to app details then permissions and had to allow camera/gallery for messenger and Facebook. Fixed it.
