My Google Messages is stuck setting up trying to verify my number this didn't happen until I downloaded the beta, unable to text 🙃

Toggling the SIM off and back on under connections in settings has solved this for most.

That only works until you power your phone off. Then you have to repeat the process. Super annoying

Annoying you have to do this on every reboot, but I'm sure it'll be fixed.

That hasn't worked for me. I submitted a bug on it and am hoping for a fix.

I have also submitted a bug. I submitted last week and no response yet. I went back to the stock Samsung app and chat did work for of the time now. Can't wait for Google messages to work again.
