Google Play Store won't open

Is anyone else having issues when trying to use the Google Play Store? When I try to open the it. it continuously flashes the home screen of the store. I cannot interact with the app at all.

Try this:

Go to Settings>Apps>Google Play>Menu>Uninstall updates

Open Google Play (it may close out but pay attention to the status bar as it should show that it is updating.)

I don't have that issue, but I have something you can try.

Open the Settings app>Go to Apps>Google Play Store>Select Force Close on the bottom.

Next, select Storage>Clear data

Reboot your phone and try Google Play.

I was excited to get your suggestion so I tried what you suggested. After rebooting my phone I opened the Play Store but unfortunately I am still experiencing the flashing of the home page of the store and I still can't interact with the app at all. Thank you so much for your response. Hopefully it elk resolve itself somehow soon.
