Google maps still doesn't work properly when dismissing and reopening the app.

When using Google maps and exiting out of the application and then going back in causes the application to just be blank.

Been an issue since beta 1 and continues into beta 6

I've just noticed this on Beta 6 myself.

Mine doesn't go blank. Mine works fine exiting and opening but i noticed it works fine, then turn screen off and back on and the map has locked up. Exiting and reopening app makes it work again.

Hmm can't recreate the glitch. I couldn't report it yesterday because I was about to drive somewhere. I would open maps and input destination and Start. I would minimize maps to start Pandora then make maps full screen, like I routinely do daily. Only in the timeframe "yesterday Sunday 10/08/2023" did the glitch occur.

Defining my maps glitch as black screen with grey side lighting, no response until I lock the phone and unlock. Pause and close map. Redo mapping and it'll be fine.

Alternate answer is I was sleeping the whole time and dreamed it up.

Uh oh but another Google item just did glitch, Chrome. Most of my error reports for some reason don't include useful system data. Maybe things get straightened out when Google and Samsung are official release versions.
