Icons on the notification bar sometimes not syncing

So I noticed that whenever I have battery saving on and it disables Always On Display, when J turn it back on the AOD icon doesn't seem to indicate it is activated or on. Even though it does work when you turn off the acreen, it does not turn it back on the notification panel sometimes. Those other times it does just work fine and it does show it is turned on.
